AMANO was founded in 1988 and has since been producing hand-knitted apparel in North Ecuador and Peru.

AMANO is a sustainable brand that adheres to the highest standards for conscious, environmentally aware fashion production. A large part of AMANO’s production is Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified.

AMANO’s collections are bright and happy, full of colour and playful elements. Patchwork, flowers and rainbow-like stripes are some of the themes the brand’s artisan knitters masterfully incorporate in the jumpers and cardigans.

AMANO works with various yarns with focus on alpaca and organic cotton, allowing its knitwear to ooze comfort and softness.
